Email from Leader of Stockport Council 13/7/2009 at 13.05

Hi Sheila

Just to let you know that Mr Parnell appeared at the Magistrates Court today for trial. He appeared before District Judge Berg in relation to an assault on Frank Craughwell.

He was found guilty. He was fined £150, ordered to pay £250 costs and a surcharge of £15. The Judge said that he found Frank and Steve to be ‘persuasive and straight forward’ witnesses. He found Parnell to be ‘evasive’ and that his actions on the day had been deliberate and provocative.

Mr.Parnell was given an anti social behaviour order which lasts for 2 years.

What was your description of him?

By the way the Magistrates court has nothing whatsoever to do with Stockport Council.

Best Wishes at all times,
